Implants are titanium screw-like fixtures placed in bone to assist a dentist in replacing missing teeth. Implant fixtures can be used in a variety of methods or designs depending on number of missing teeth and patient goals for their treatment.

Hybrid bridges are fixed denture like prosthesis provided a non removable replacement options if a person wants to switch from uncomfortable removable dentures or is about to lose teeth and does not wish to pursue removable denture options. Considered the ideal treatment for fully edentulous patients or where
remaining teeth may not be stable and requiring removal and replacement.
Sometimes, patients with minimal space or partial missing teeth may benefit from implant supported conventional bridges made of porcelain that look very esthetic and are strong enough to handle tough bites in limited space.
Single tooth implant is an option to replace missing teeth without the preparation of at the neighboring teeth as with old style bridge work. Conservative treatment with implants is healthier and restorations last longer then prep bridges.
For patients who still want implant supported restoration to stabilize dentures
but are not ready yet for fixed restorative; dentures can be secured with implants.
